Meet Mike Griffeth, MD

784A0180_edit2Dr. Griffeth has enjoyed treating Tooele County residents for the past twelve years.

Prior to moving to Tooele, he treated the Price, Utah community for two years. A native of Preston, Idaho he received his Associates degree from Ricks College. He attended Portland State University where he received his Bachelors of Science degree. He continued his education at Oregon Health Sciences University where he received his Doctorate of Medicine. Striving for excellence has always been a goal of Dr. Griffeth’s as a Doctor and Surgeon. He served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska.

He was the first recipient of the Earl DuBois Scholarship at Oregon Health Sciences University. He graduated with High Honors from Portland State University. While attending Ricks College he made the Deans list.

His professional affiliations include the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons and the Utah Ophthalmology Society.

Dr. Griffeth resides in Stansbury Park with his wife, Kindy. They are the proud parents of five beautiful children. In his spare time, he enjoys quiet evenings at home with his family or traveling with family and friends.

Patient care and education have been and always remain his top priority. He stays educated in the field of Ophthalmology so he may offer the best possible eye care options to his patients. Keeping his patients educated and involved in their eye care decision is important to Dr. Griffeth. After all, they’re his neighbors!
